At the Kings Court Positions Appointed Le Party Scene Les Femmes Bonnes Military Matters Religious Affaires Crossed Blades Comings and Goings Vacancies Went as Expected For appointments and positions it was a very quiet month. General Bice has the honour of leading the army in Tuscany this coming summer. Lt. General Farragher remains the Adjutant General, while Lt. General Blanc takes over as the Inspector General of the Cavalry and Lt. General Joanson becomes the Inspector General of the Infantry. At court, the Master of the Hunt was appointed, the Keeper of the Seals, and the Royal Steward. The Pope had the pleasure of re-appointing the Inquisitor for another year. The Director of the Fencing Schools also retained his position. In the coming month, the military will see the Quartermaster General appointed. The 1st and 2nd Division Commanders will be selected, the Brigadiers, and the Army Adjutant. It will be the time for the court to appoint new King's Equerries. The new Director of the Fencing Schools will be appointing his Instructors and I believe the Military Science Fellowship in the Royal Academy is up for consideration. Finally, word has reached me that His Eminence plans to review the Ecclesiatic Secretaries in the coming month. |
